As we Embark upon our 10th Anniversary Season, we are coming out of the wings with caution. With the best intentions and a solid plan in place, the HGMC will not be producing a holiday show in December. After careful review of all currently available health information, the Leadership Team and Board of Directors determined it was not the right plan for the chorus to resume in-person rehearsals this fall as previously hoped.
What lies ahead for the HGMC this fall? We will come together for some virtual and outside rehearsals to prepare a short set of Christmas Carols. The chorus will have the opportunity to perform outside at the West Hartford Stroll on Thursday, December 2. We will also be performing Christmas Carols pre-show for Hartford Stage during the run of “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play”. We will continue to provide social events for the members to stay connected and support each other.
Now more than ever is the Hartford Gay Men’s Chorus in need of your support.
We are committed to changing hearts and minds through our music. Using it as a catalyst to inspire, impact, and enrich the lives of our members, patrons, and the community. We have continued to do so in the face of COVID-19 and the ever changing political and economic climate we find ourselves in.
We humbly ask that you donate what you can to help us keep the music alive!
Please stay tuned for upcoming events!
