I grew up singing in various choruses and missed making music with others. I was encouraged to join by multiple friends who were already part of HGMC
What do you enjoy most about being in the chorus?
The sense of family. The laughs and music we make together are lasting memories for me.
What value does being in the chorus bring to your life?
I love feeling like I’m a part of an organization that strives to create positive change in the world. I feel like every concert, or outreach event we do is a wave of transformation to our community and ourselves.
Why is music/arts important to you?
It’s a way of expression deeper parts of myself. Music/ art has a way of connecting people that no other thing can. It’s a universal love, and I’m glad I share in that.
